Jimmy Jacobs has reportedly agreed to a contract that will bring the former five-time Ring of Honor tag team champion aboard as a member of WWE's creative team, according to PWInsider (via LordsofPain).

Jacobs, 31, had reportedly been negotiating with the company for a while before agreeing to terms. He recently appeared on both Monday Night RAW and Friday Night SmackDown as one of Adam Rose's Rosebuds.

As stated, the 12-year veteran of ROH will not be wrestling but rather be a part of the creative team. It's an interesting move for Jacobs as his age and current ability did not indicate a wrestler who is looking to retire. However, it's always possible that the company elects to use Jacobs in a wrestling role at some point.

Current holder of the 'Money in the Bank' briefcase, Seth Rollins and Jimmy Jacobs were a part of the 'Age of Fall' in 2007 and were one of the organizations more successful tag teams.

The final ROH appearance for Jacobs could take place at the Supercard of Honor event on March 27 in California.
