The final SmackDown before Survivor Series came to us from Knoxville, Tennessee and managed to add more intrigue to the impending Team Cena vs. Team Authority match. A new stipulation added by Triple H now put every member of Team Cena on the hot seat. If Team Cena loses, everyone on the team except for Cena will be fired. Also, Dean Ambrose warned Bray Wyatt of a pair of brass knuckles he intends on using to break Wyatt's face. And finally, at the end of the night, Team Authority stood tall, but could it be for the final time?
Rusev w/Lana vs Dolph Ziggler:- The first match of the night saw the now former Intercontinental champion, Dolph Ziggler going up against current United States champion, Rusev. The match saw Ziggler being dominated for the most part, with some miracle moments such as a superkick and a splash. It wasn't Ziggler's night as The Show Off would go on to lose to Rusev after a devastating superkick.
Winner:- Rusev
Los Matadores vs. The Miz and Damien MizDow:- Los Matadores were in complete control as the tag team champions, Gold & Stardust looked on. Diego got the win after hitting a crossbody onto The Miz.
Winners:- Los Matadores
AJ Lee vs. Brie Bella:- AJ came out dressed as Nikki Bella for the match. A lot of good back and forth action between the two divas. AJ picked up the victory after Nikki distracted Brie, allowing her to roll-up Brie.
Winner:- AJ Lee
Erick Rowan vs. Cesaro:- After joining Team Cena this past Monday night, Erick Rowan's first match as a member of Team Cena ended up being against Cesaro. And the crowd seemed less than interested as Rowan picked up the relatively easy win after hitting a backbreaker and a torture rack.
Winner:- Erick Rowan
*After Wrestlemania, who would have guessed that Erick Rowan would be easily beating Cesaro in November of the same year?
Seth Rollins/Kane vs. Ryback/Big Show:- Before the match really gets started, it ends up in a total melee with Team Cena and Team Authority waged in a complete brawl. It all ends with Team Cena decimated and laid out and The Authority standing tall as SmackDown goes off the air.
